Advocacy services provide victims with the support they need during legal proceedings to feel safe and empowered.

  • Lay Legal Advocacy (or “Sister-In-Law) program offers trained volunteers to work with clients to provide individualized support, court accompaniment, and advocacy during legal proceedings.
  • The Legal Center’s Court advocates are available for clients in both the White Plains and Yonkers Integrated Domestic Violence Courts to offer support, advocacy, and information.
